Regarding admission, when you apply to XXX, mention my name on your application as potential supervisor.  I suggest you consider Fall 2024 admission as that is the main entry term.  As you probably know, admission to a strong CS graduate program like XXX's is competitive. Usually, we have many more qualified applicants than number of admission spots so only the most qualified applicants are offered admission, meaning that unfortunately not all qualified applicants can be offered admission.
