课题组主要研究方向是水文模型，水资源管理，气候变化，气象观测，水利水电，给排水，大数据，人工智能与机器学习在水，能源，粮食中的应用和探究。
现在想招收全奖博士生 2 名 （美国自然基金委资助）， 1名博士后（美国国防部与自然基金网共同资助），以及硕士生若干。

The lab for Water-Energy Science & Technology for Environment and Natural Resources (WESTENR) led by Tiantian Yang is located at NOAA National Weather Center on campus. The state-of-art office facility provides many opportunities for students and faculty to collaborate with NOAA weather/climate experts and participate top seminars related to water, weather, climate in a global perspective.
