Multiple post-doc positions are available at the Biomedical Engineering Department of Michigan Technological University.
With the collaborative efforts by the Michigan Technological University (Biomedical Engineering), Spectrum Health (Cardiology), University of Wisconsin (Medical Physics, Neurosurgery, and Radiology), University of Michigan (Neurosurgery and Radiology), and Mayo Clinic (Cardiovascular Medicine and Radiology), my lab focuses on computational biomedical engineering, particularly in data analytics for cardiovascular disease. We are looking for motivated individuals to participate actively in machine learning, medical image analysis, and computer modeling. Those positions offer opportunities for integrating engineering, applied math, and computer science with medicine and medical imaging.

Qualifications:
The qualified candidate should have a doctoral degree in engineering, computer science, physics, math, or a closely-related field. The candidate is expected to be highly motivated, with a strong interest in computer programming. Expertise at least in two of the following areas below is required:

; Strong programming skills with Python and C++
; Experience in GPU programming
; Experience in machine learning and statistical analysis, particularly deep-learning-based artificial intelligence
; Experience in medical imaging processing, e.g., multimodality fusion and registration, motion tracking
; Experience in computer modeling, e.g., computational biomechanics and computational physics
; Experience in optimization, numerical solution of optimization problems
; Experience in augmented reality or virtual reality

If you are more interested in research related to computational modeling and physics, you can formally apply for the position through the link below:
