Multiple fully-funded graduate research assistant positions post-doc positions are available from the Lightwave Technology Lab (LTL) in Electrical Engineering at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. The lab's research focuses on the development of optical and microwave sensors and instrumentation for applications in energy, intelligent infrastructures, clean environments, biomedical sensing, and harsh environments. The PI of the LTL lab Prof. Jie Huang is currently managing a very active research group of 18 people, including 1 NTT research professor, 2 full-time post-docs, 1 research Aide, 9 Ph.D. students, and 5 M.S. students, all of which are supported through funds from external research grants.

Requirements:
1) BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, physics, or other related majors.
2) Knowledge in fiber optics, electromagnetics, or microwave engineering is preferred.
