About Dr. Zhe Jiang
Dr. Zhe Jiang is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer & Information Science & Engineering at the University of Florida. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China. His research interests include data mining, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. His research results have been published in top AI and Data Science venues, including KDD, ICDM, AAAI, VLDB, ACMGIS, TKDE, and TIST. Dr. Jiang received the NSF CRII award in 2019 and Microsoft AI for Earth award in 2021. He has received over $2.45 Million share of external grants (over $20 million total) from multiple federal agencies (NSF, UCAR, USGS, NOAA, UCAR) and industry companies. He is a senior member of IEEE.

- 已经在读的学生没有任何影响。
- 对海外的中国学生（新加坡，欧洲，美国，澳大利亚）申请PHD没有任何影响
- 对来自大陆的中国学生申请者，学校一个petition流程，然后board of governor批准，因为今年是第一次，还没有具体经验。
