Graduate Research Assistantship (Master's or Ph.D.) in the Department of Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering at The Ohio State University
A new Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) position is available in Professor Qian (Victoria) Chen's research group (fabe.osu.edu). Qualified individuals who are interested in pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. degree specializing in the Energy Efficient Building area are invited to apply. Admission is available in Autumn 2022 or Spring 2023. The basic requirements and preferred qualifications include:
1) An undergraduate and/or Master's degree in Building Energy, Mechanical Engineering (with knowledge of building mechanical systems such as HVAC), Civil Engineering, or other closely related disciplines
2) Research interests and experiences in one or more of the following areas: building energy simulation, energy audit and performance analysis, building automation and control, and other areas related to green/high-performance buildings and environmental sustainability
3) Good mathematical and computer programming skills, and
4) Meet other OSU admission requirements (gpadmissions.osu.edu).
