30 min in total, about 15 min for interview and 15 min for asking questions

3. can you tell me about your current research
4. what’s your career goal
5. can you tell me about your math/stats background
6. can you tell me about your computing skills
7. how comfortable are you writing manuscripts
emory的faculty非常友好，一开始先上来介绍了他们自己的background和研究（虽然不是我match的area，但还是挺有意思的），然后就是开始我的interview，非常conversational，说到某某点他们也会提这方面的faculty。然后后半基本是我在问问题，emory的学术氛围感觉非常友好开放，生统在的楼和要新建的楼和nursing还有一个啥的medical的楼连在一起，物理上非常适合学术交流。前三年是guarantee funding的，后面应该是导师出，然后第一年开始可以找lab找side project做，他俩还强调了一下department会‘make sure our students are paid for’不是打白工哈哈。然后第三年确定导师后基本是一个supervisor，但是也可以有co-supervisor，以及不限制你向谁去请教问题，对于我这种对两个领域感兴趣的人真的好适合。没有问technical的问题，也没有让我讲对感兴趣的faculty的paper的理解。周四周五还有online open day，看了下agenda内容好丰富。
