关于Dr. Qiang Liu:
Dr. Qiang Liu is an tenure-track Assistant Professor at School of Computing, University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Before that, he was a research scientist at Nokia Bell Labs. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2020. He received his M.S. degree at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2016. His research interests primarily lie in the field of wireless communication, computer networking, edge computing, and machine learning. His research covers a diverse set of topics including resource management, network virtualization, SDN, end-to-end slicing, applied AI/ML, AR/VR, and connected vehicles. His work has been published in top-tier conferences like IEEE INFOCOM, ACM MobiHoc, IEEE ICNP, and IEEE ICDCS, and won the Best Paper Award in IEEE ICC 2019. He has extensive research experience in both academia, e.g., NCL at UESTC and WinSYS at UNC-Charlotte, and industry labs, e.g., Nokia Bell Labs, Facebook Reality Labs, Toyota InfoTech Labs, and Huawei 2012 Labs.
