Dr. Wenwen Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Georgia. His research interests have spanned a wide spectrum of critical issues in computer systems that cut across computer architectures, operating systems, compilers, runtimes, and security. His overall research goal is to address the question of how we can build efficient, secure, and reliable computer systems in an era in which computing has become a ubiquitous part of our everyday life. His research has led to a series of research papers published in a range of competitive conferences that include ASPLOS, USENIX ATC, MobiSys, CCS, ASE, CGO, and VEE. The University of Georgia (UGA), founded in 1785, is one of the oldest public universities in the USA. In 2020 U.S. News Rankings, UGA is ranked 16th among public national universities. UGA has distinguished alumni and attendees including current and former members of the United States Senate, members of the United States House of Representatives, plus MacArthur Fellows winners, Pulitzer Prize winners, Emmy Award winners, and Grammy Award winners. The main campus of UGA is in Athens, Georgia, about 70 miles northeast of Atlanta. It takes only three hours to drive from Athens to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and four hours to the Atlantic coast.
