F1首签安家楼水果(附个人整理的面签问题列表+study plan模版+经验总结)(统计PhD)

12/4面签，自认为在面签前做了充分的准备，基本把地里F1签证帖子刷到了19年3月 并且从里面总结了可能被问的问题和一些小tips。地里的帖子整的对我准备面签有很大帮助！现在来说说我的面签过程和面签前后需要准备和注意的问，回馈地里～
我是在一楼18号窗口，一个白人光头小哥
下面是和VO的对话：
VO: 早上好(中文！)
Me: Good morning! Here’s my passport and I20. (强行转成英文)
VO看了我的护照 (之前有一个去美国交流一学期的签证)
VO: Did you graduate from *** University(本科去交流的学校) ?
Me: No, I’ve been to *** University for an exchange program. I‘ve been there for 4 months, a semester…
VO: SO what did you graduate from?
Me: I am now an undergraduate student in ++ University in China.
VO: So when will you graduate?
Me: In **** (这里解释我的毕业时间，属于个人情况)
VO: Ok, I see.
VO在仔细查看我的I20…
VO: 你去**City(美国学校的地址)前还去其他地方吗？(英文)
Me: No.
VO: (一边敲电脑) **City is a beautiful city.
Me: Yeah, it’s very warm….. (附和VO…)
VO: You are passed. (小声说)Good luck.
Me: Thank you. Have a good day. (立马走人)
我的study plan/ cv/ advisor’s cv都没有被看，也没有问我的专业/ funding这类的问题。同行的同一个项目的妹子被问到了专业funding和父母职业，也没有被看studyplan cv这类。
分析原因：
1, 统计专业不是敏感专业。之前看地里帖子说check的基本上是cs/ee/bio/physics之类
2, 据说这段时间形势好了很多
3，VO可能没注意到我这是一个phd项目
面签前：
准备材料+准备问题/答案+练习口语

2，study plan：基本参照下面的两篇帖子的结构和内容，内容包含官方模版上的但最好再多写一些 (我的study plan图片附在最后)

3，visa interview questions: 翻之前的帖子然后自己总结的，如下：
此外，需要结合自己的情况思考VO可能会问的问题 (比如我的本科毕业时间问题，我之前想到VO会问这个准备了答案)
4，内容需注意：
所有回答要回避敏感词汇。对于统计专业，最好回避 machine learning/ statistical computing/ big data/ biology/ genomics/ computer science 等； Study/research interest 最好写一些关于理论的东西，回避在生物/计算机上的应用

以上是基本都适用的，其余在cv上写的work experience(如果有的话) study plan上写的projects相关内容也最好准备一下。
面签时：
要保持微笑，说话要流利 大声 有自信(必要的时后用手势比划 最好不要卡顿停在那里)，就像和朋友说一个好笑的事情一样。
(我前面有一个妹子也是留学签证，说话声音很小几乎是贴在玻璃窗上说的，最后好像被拒签了…(也有可能是专业问题))
面签后：
可以在官网 ustraveldocs.com 找到查询visa状态的web(CEAC)和查询护照状态的web
面签当天查询到的AP先不要慌!!! 如果是VO口头说通过了查询到AP有可能是VO没有及时更新到系统中。官网上有明确说明“Please wait at least three business days following your visa interview to check on the status of your application. The system may not have updated the status of your application prior to that time, and thus the message you receive may not reflect the actual status of your application.” 如果面签当天查询CEAC，查到的结果是：面签前一天created; 面前当天updated(这里的AP也有可能是你的VO还没有真正updated)
P.s. track护照的web只能在面签后的两周内查询到状态

12/4查询到的是 12/3 created; 12/4 updated, AP
12/5中午查到的是：12/3 created; 12/5 updated. Issued!
