BME面经：
面试是digital interview，可能和人面试不太一样，他有点像托福的形式。我答题的时候碰到的问题是可以答两次，但是我的朋友都是只能答一次的，所以建议是按照一次来准备吧。把每一次都说好就行了，然后时间是比较随意的，在自己状态最好的时候答题就好了。
1. 你为什么要申请这个program？
2. 说说你的编程能力，举个例子？
3. 说说你怎么给别人解释复杂的问题？
4. 说说你创造性的解决了什么样的问题？
5. 说说你对纽约的看法？
我记得当时应该是起码有两套题，我这个是我碰到的。
对小米的提问，是Professor Katie Reuther, Director of MS Studies回复的。
1. Is the program must be finished in 1.5 years or I can finish it in 2 years? Most students finish in 1.5 years.
2. If I want to pursue the PhD work in Columbia University will I have better chance if I am the MS student? We have had MS students continue on towards their PhD. The PhD admissions process is completely different than the MS process and requires matching with a Principal Investigator (PI). Being able to work with and learn from a PI during your MS degree could help your PhD application but there is no guarantee.
3. Does the MS student must do internship during the program? Does the school provide career help to aid students getting a intern or job? MS students are not required to do an internship but many students do take advantage of that. We have a Career Placement Officer, Kristen Henlin, in our Department that is dedicated to helping students in this area.
4. If I work in a lab during my MS can I have chance to transfer into the PhD program? We have had many MS students apply to our PhD program during their MS studies here.
