1st Rej Fellowship @ EPFL EDIC

As you are probably aware, there are two possible ways to join our program: either with a one-year EDIC fellowship, or by being hired directly by an EDIC-affiliated lab. Your application has unfortunately not been selected for a fellowship; however, you are considered eligible for the program. This means that the EDIC Admissions Committee considers your credentials strong enough to join the program if an EDIC-affiliated lab is interested in your profile and will hire you directly.

Your application has been made available to EDIC faculty members. Over the coming weeks, you may be contacted for further discussion or for an interview invitation. The EDIC Admissions Committee is not involved in this process, but we are happy to assist you with general information, if needed. Please note that over the past few years, the proportion of direct-hire candidates who ultimately joined the program was typically in the range of 10-20%. Your eligible status is valid for one year, which gives you ample time to explore opportunities.
