Role Description
This full-time on-site role in Rapid City, SD is for a Postdoctoral Researcher. The researcher will conduct antenna design, perform laboratory and field experiments, analyze data, and contribute to collaborative research projects. In addition, the researcher will support the mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students and contribute to journal publications, conference presentations, and proposal development. The role focuses on advancing knowledge within the field of applied electromagnetics while also supporting the institution's academic and research objectives.

Qualifications
  • A Ph.D. in the area of electromagnetics in Electrical Engineering is required
  • Familiar with FEKO/HFSS/CST, ADS, and Matlab
  • Experience in antenna design, fabrications, and measurements
  • Ability to analyze complex data and generate microwave images
  • Strong laboratory skills and hands-on experience with experimental setups
  • Proficiency in conducting advanced research and in-depth studies within applied electromagnetics
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities
