There are multiple openings for Ph.D. students to join my research group in Fall 2026 to pursue machine-learning-driven research in 6G communications and signal/image processing. Potential research directions include machine learning for integrated sensing and communications (ISAC), computer vision and image processing, underwater acoustic communications, UAV communications, and semantic communications. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in machine learning and wireless communications or signal processing, with prior experience in deep learning.
