1. 理工科专业(化学,化工,物理,生工,计算机,机械,环境,生物), 数学基础好的本科或者硕士生,都可以申请;
2. 有一定编程基础; 对c++,c, fortran或者python 有一定经验;
3. 博士生申请最低要求: GPA > 3.2 out of 4.0; GRE不要求; Tofel >= 80, or ielts >= 6.5, or pte academic >= 53, or duolingo >=115 。
4. 有材料模拟经验的(machine learning, or simulations (quantum, atomistic, coarse grained, or CFD)) .

2. Postdoc Position for Machine Leaning of Soft Matter (Polymers/Biomaterials)
Postdoctoral position(s) of machine learning or simulations of polymers and biomaterials is available in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of South Carolina. This position is for the projects about polymers, biological systems (enzyme, lipids and nucleotides), and interfacial electron transfer/redox using multiscale simulations. The appointment will be 1-2 years.
Required qualifications:
1) Expertise in machine learning for material design or/and simulations
2) Expertise in the one of the following research areas: polymers, enzymatic reactions, or interfacial redox and electron transfer.
3) Good programming skills.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: (1) machine learning for material design; (2) Machine learning forcefield MD, QM/MM, AIMD, or large-scale simulations.; (3) metadynamics simulations or the development of coarse-grained forcefield parameters would be a plus.
