Part-time Research Position in 3D/4D Generation at Microsoft

This is a research-driven part-time role. The primary responsibility is to push the research frontier of 3D/4D generation and produce a publication for a top-tier AI conference.

1. Research Focus
3D/4D asset or scene generation

2. Goal
Publish one paper at a top AI conference (CVPR/ICCV/ECCV)

3. Required Qualifications
3.1 Research background in 3D computer vision, with experience in NeRF and Gaussian Splatting.
3.2 Familiarity with diffusion models (e.g., Stable Diffusion).
3.3 Proficiency in PyTorch and Python development.
3.4 One publication record as first author or co–first author in a top-tier AI conference.
3.5 Currently PhD student in the U.S., or a Master candidate with proven research experience;

4. Collaboration Format
Part-time, up to 20 hours per week (CPT typically allows a maximum of 20 hours/week for part-time employment).
