在本论坛招聘到很多优秀学生,lab拿到新的经费,学生毕业去做助理教授或者去Amazon等公司工作,特此招聘优秀博士和博士后。
The Biomechatronics and Intelligent Robotics Lab (haosu-robotics.github.io) at Tandon School of Engineering, New York University (NYU), is inviting applications for PhD students and postdoctoral fellows. We seek candidates with expertise in mechatronics, control, reinforcement learning, generative AI, computer vision, computer simulation for surgical and wearable robotics.
We publish in top journals such as Nature, Nature Machine Intelligence, Science Robotics, and IEEE Transactions on Robotics, IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics. Our lab is dedicated to translating fundamental discoveries into real-world applications and promoting technology transfer and entrepreneurship. Alumni from our group hold faculty positions in USA, Asia, and Europe, and work at leading companies including Apple, Amazon Robotics, Siemens, and Boston Dynamics.
PhD students can be admitted in the 2026 fall semester and will receive tuition scholarships and stipends. Students are required to have TOEFL (or IELTS or Duolingo). PhD applications should be submitted to the Biomedical Engineering (BME) department at NYU. engineering.nyu.edu. Applicants should assemble the following into a single PDF file: CV, list of publications, and up to three representative scientific papers. Send applications to 1point3acres.com AND 1point3acres.com. NYU PhD application deadline is December 1st.
Postdoctoral fellows should hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field, and should demonstrate research leadership, along with excellent oral and written communication skills.
