今年我们刚刚开始了几个新的科研项目,未来几年的研究方向确定,期待有一定科研经验的同学们加入。主要要求:多模态大模型/医学图像分析方向希望至少发表过一篇CVPR/ICCV/ECCV/MICCAI/TMI/MIA(或类似期刊会议)一作论文。人机交互方向希望至少发表过一篇CHI/CSCW/UIST/IMWUT(或类似期刊会议)一作论文。
Computer Science PhD Positions at The Ohio State University, Deep Learning, Multimodal LLMs, Medical Image Analysis, and Human-Computer Interaction
Dr. Ping Zhang is seeking multiple PhD students (full research assistantship support available) on deep learning, multimodal large language models (MLLM), human-computer interaction, and medical image analysis in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University. The student will have the opportunity to develop novel AI foundation models for real-world biomedical and/or clinical problems. Dr. Zhang’s research and work experiences can be found at pingzhang.net
Ideal candidates should be self-motivated and passionate about conducting original research. Students from related disciplines such as computer science, software engineering, informatics, statistics, mathematics, automation, and electrical engineering are strongly encouraged to apply. Extensive programming experience in either Python, R, MATLAB, Java, or C/C++ is required. Prior knowledge of and research experience in either machine learning, natural language processing, human-computer interaction, or biomedical informatics is required. Experience in publishing first-author research articles in peer-reviewed technical conferences (such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, KDD, CHI, CSCW, ACL, WWW, AAAI, IJCAI, CVPR, ICCV, or similar) is required.
