Job description
I'm actively seeking 2 outstanding candidates to fill in Ph.D. positions with full RA support start from Spring 2026. Ph.D. students will work on topics of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) with focuses on security/safety/assurance, real-time, and machine learning, addressing applications including autonomous vehicles,drones and robots. We highly encourage enthusiastic and self-motivated graduate students to apply.
Requirement
Applicants from majors of computers science, computer engineering, electrical engineering (e.g.,communication and control), information security, or relevant majors, are encouraged to apply.

Mengyu Liu
Mengyu is a final-year PhD student at University of Notre Dame Computer Science and Engineering department. Mengyu is an incoming tenure-track Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences computer science department at Washington State University Tri-Cities. His research centers around Cyber-Physical Systems(CPS) with interests in security/safety/assurance, real-time, and learningl-enabled CPS. His research techniques include machine learning, formalmethods, control, optimization and algorithm design. Mengyu has published over 20 research papers at major highly reputable venues, including RTSS, RTAS, ICCPS, EMSOFT, DAC, etc.
