Multiple PhD Positions in Data Mining and Machine Learning at the College of William & Mary
For Prospective Students:
Dr. Yanfu Zhang is currently seeking highly self-motivated students with strong mathematics or coding skills to fill multiple PhD positions available for the Spring/Fall semester. These positions are in the Department of Computer Science at the College of William & Mary. Prospective students will receive full funding through Teaching Assistantships (TA) or Research Assistantships (RA). The research focus will primarily be on data mining, machine learning, large language models, and computer vision.

About Me
Dr. Yanfu Zhang has a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He studied at USTC, UCAS, and UofRochester. His research interests span graph neural networks, efficient and robust representation learning, and fairness-aware machine learning, with applications to medical images, multi-omics, and other relevant data mining and machine learning problems.
