【导师介绍】
Kaize Ding is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Northwestern University. Before joining Northwestern, he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at Arizona State University under the supervision of Prof. Huan Liu. His research interests are generally in data mining, machine learning, and large foundation models. research focus is to build reliable and efficient AI systems for autonomous decision-making. Meanwhile, He is passionate about developing knowledge-guided AI algorithms especially based on GNNs and LLMs to advance high-impact applications in various domains, such as healthcare/biomedicine, and urban/environmental computing. His research has been published at top-tier conferences and journals (e.g., AAAI, EMNLP, IJCAI, KDD, NeurIPS, TheWebConf, and TNNLS), and has been recognized with several prestigious awards and honors, including Amazon Research Awards, AAAI New Faculty Highlights, SDM Best Posters Award, etc. Kaize has also established close collaborations with Google Brain, Microsoft Research, and Amazon Alexa AI.
