个人简介:陈聪即将就任达特茅斯学院助理教授,目前为斯坦福大学“能源学者”博士后研究员。她分别在武汉大学获得学士学位、清华大学获得硕士学位、康奈尔大学获得博士学位,专业均为电气工程。她的研究兴趣涵盖电力系统工程、优化理论和电力系统经济学的交叉领域。目前,她的研究重点包括大规模分布式能源资源聚合、不确定性下的定价、面向能源消费者的大语言模型仿真、储能在电力市场的应用,以及氢能在电力系统中的集成。她曾收到ISO New England、腾讯AI实验室、阿里巴巴、微软和谷歌的实习offer。她曾获2019年和2024年IEEE电力与能源学会年会(PESGM)最佳论文奖、2023年PESGM会议优秀论文奖。此外,她于2016年带队获得创青春全国大学生创业大赛金奖,于2017年被评为武汉大学优秀本科毕业生,于2019年被评为清华大学优秀硕士毕业生,2019年获康奈尔大学Irwin and Joan Jacobs学者称号,2023年被评为加州理工学院工程与应用科学开拓性青年研究学者,并于2024年获得康奈尔大学电子与计算机工程杰出博士论文奖。

About Me: Cong Chen is an incoming Dartmouth College assistant professor and a Stanford Energy Postdoctoral Fellow. With a B.E. from Wuhan University, an M.S. from Tsinghua University, and a Ph.D. from Cornell University, all in Electrical Engineering, she has research experience in large-scale distributed energy resource aggregation, pricing under uncertainties, energy storage integration in the electricity market, large language models for energy consumers, and hydrogen storage for grid resilience. Broadly speaking, her research interests lie at the intersection of power system engineering, optimization theory, power system economics, and electricity markets. She received internship offers from ISO New England, Tencent AI Lab, Alibaba, Microsoft Research, and Google Research (terminated at group match). She was the recipient of the Best Paper Award at the IEEE Power & Energy Society General Meeting (PESGM) in 2019 and 2024, the Prize Conference Paper Award at the IEEE PESGM in 2023, and the Cornell ECE Outstanding Ph.D. Thesis Award in 2024. She was recognized as the Irwin and Joan Jacobs Scholar at Cornell in 2019 and as the Engineering and Applied Science Trailblazing Young Researcher at Caltech in 2023.
