Career Opportunities After Graduation
Our Ph.D. program typically spans 5-6 years, preparing graduates for roles in industry (Google, Meta, Adobe, Qualcomm, and so on) both in the U.S. and internationally, as well as for academic positions (Faculty jobs). Computer Science graduates in the U.S. often command competitive salaries, and Ph.D. students in STEM fields may also be eligible to apply for permanent residency (Green card) based on their research publications. Exceptional candidates may even take tenure-track faculty positions upon graduation.
Required Documents
Please email an English resume and academic transcripts (in PDF format) to [email protected]. While optional, you are encouraged to highlight any relevant experiences, such as research publications, lab work, competitions, or course projects.
Financial Support
Admitted students will receive full tuition waivers, health insurance, and a monthly stipend of $2,100 as Research Assistants (RA) or Teaching Assistants (TA). UTA also offers on-campus housing with options ranging from $688 to $1,000, depending on room type ( nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com ). Travel and conference expenses for research presentations will be fully covered.
Additional Information
For any questions regarding this opportunity, please contact me at [email protected]. I am happy to discuss topics such as the pros and cons of working with an assistant professor, UTA’s strengths, and career prospects. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!
