We are actively seeking outstanding candidates to fill in Ph.D. positions with full RA support.Ph.D. students will work on topics of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and Internet-of-Things (IoT)with focuses on security/safety/assurance, real-time, and machine learning/large languagemodel/foundation model-enabled CPS, addressing applications including autonomous vehicles,drones and robots. We highly encourage enthusiastic and self-motivated graduate students to apply.
Requirement
Applicants from majors of computers science, computer engineering, electrical engineering (e.g.,communication and control), information security, or relevant majors, are encouraged to apply.

Dr. Fanxin Kong
Dr. Kong is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science andEngineering at University of Notre Dame. His research centers around Cyber-Physical Systems(CPS) with interests in security/safety/assurance, real-time, and learning/large languagemodel/foundation model-enabled CPS. His research techniques include machine learning, formalmethods, control, optimization, algorithm design, and game theory. Dr. Kong has published over75 research papers at major highly reputable venues, including RTSS, RTAS, ICCPS, EMSOFT,IoTDI, DAC, etc. Dr. Kong is serving as the Information Director of ACM Special Interest Groupon Embedded Systems (SIGBED). He has served as general chair, session chairs, organizing andprogram committee members for many workshops and conferences.
