Ph.D. openings are available in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY, in Dr. Xu Jin’s group on the topics of intelligent control. We look for excellent students in one or more of the following areas:
1.     Adaptive control
2.     Iterative learning control
3.     Nonlinear systems and control
4.     Vision-based control
5.     Ground vehicles/Quadrotors
6.     Multiagent/interconnected/networked/cyber-physical systems

Qualifications: The applicants MUST ALREADY HAVE, or will soon have the TOEFL/IELTS test score (if applicable) meeting the departmental minimum requirement. For students to be enrolled in Fall 2024, GRE will no longer be required in the application process, but still encouraged.
