Dr. Tong is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Delaware. He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas under the supervision of Prof. Ding-Zhu Du, and a BS degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Beijing Institute of Technology. He is the NSF CAREER Awardee and received the departmental Outstanding Faculty Research Award. He is the Associate Editor for Computational Social Networks (Springer) and Journal of Combinatorial Optimization (Springer).
