Dr. Chen's research interests have broadly centered on the intersection of stress, race/ethnicity, cultural contexts, and social inequality. Specifically, she explores how socio-cultural (e.g., ethnic/racial socialization, social support, parenting) and bio-behavioral (e.g., sleep, cortisol, allostatic load) factors that can be leveraged to promote adolescent development in the face of inequality. Her work has been published in top journals including Child Development, American Psychologist, Social Science and Medicine.

补充说明当前UF对招收中国学生的政策：
- 已经在读的学生没有任何影响。
- 对海外的中国学生（新加坡，欧洲，美国，澳大利亚）申请PHD没有任何影响
- 对来自大陆的中国学生申请者，学校一个petition流程，然后board of governor批准，因为今年是第一次，还没有具体经验。
- 欢迎该兴趣的学生联系老师，尤其人在海外的同学。(另外，佛州很多学校华人老师已经想办法通过法律途径，争取撤销这个限制规定。之前佛州不让外国人买房的禁令就被法律途径暂停执行了。以后有更新的消息会更新。）
