The MIXIC Lab at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow for advanced MEMS research and development. The group develops pressure, microfluidic and bioMEMS among others. The successful candidate will work on the development of a new line of MEMS and work closely with the Analog & Mixed Signal IC researchers to research and develop state-of-the-art sensing SoC and SoP.

Responsibilities
Plan and research different microelectromechanical systems (MEMS)
Perform design and physical layout of MEMS.
Fabricate MEMS in a cleanroom facility.
Simulate physical phenomena using FEA.
Draft grants, academic papers, and patents.
Test and analyse performance of MEMS under different environments and situations.

Qualifications
An advanced degree (Ph.D.) in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Deep understanding of MEMS technology and its diverse applications.
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working across disciplines.
Passion for innovation and pushing the boundaries of what's possible with semiconductor technologies.
