By collecting neuronal activities in hippocampus and visual nervous system using in vivo electrophysiology and other methods, we explore the coding mode of the brain to the external world and the neuronal population activity mode in awake and sleeping states, and study the neural basis of spatial navigation, visual perception, visual assisted navigation, learning and memory.

Our group welcomes students who are interested in brain science to apply for a full-scholarship PhD student. They will receive a postgraduate stipend of about 15,000 RMB per month. The requirements are as follows:
(1) Professional background: have obtained or will soon obtain a bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical engineering, electronic engineering, automation, computer science/technology, communication engineering, or experience in animal behavior experiments or programming experience, etc.
(2)Excellent academic performance or scientific research achievements
(3) Language proficiency: strong communication skills in Chinese and English, TOEFL 80 points or above/IELTS 6.5 points and above 5.5 points in each item), or have confidence in achieving results before formal admission.
(3) Others: Strong hands-on ability, good at analytical thinking, good at reading, good at cooperation.
