Dr. Ying Chen, who will be joining the Department of Information Technology at Kennesaw State University as a tenure-track assistant professor in Fall 2024, invites applications for a fully funded Master’s research assistantship. However, applicants must fulfill the university's English proficiency requirements, which are a minimum score of 80 on the TOEFL or 6.5 on the IELTS.

The lab’s research focuses on augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) systems, which is an interdisciplinary area. Our research improves AR and VR experiences by drawing upon theories and methods from edge computing, wireless communications, robotics, machine learning, and human-computer interaction to achieve the synergy of communication, computation, and sensing in AR and VR systems.
