Hello all,
I’m seeking a motivated and bright Ph.D. student (or an MS student pursuing a Ph.D. with me) who will conduct research with me at the University of Nebraska Omaha starting in the Fall/2024 (or Spring/2025) semester.
JOB SUMMARY
A selected student will conduct high-quality research in cloud computing, edge computing, and data analytics systems. The work will target top-tier research venues such as HPDC, CoNext, SoCC, Middleware, EuroSys, and ATC. The position will be fully funded for selected applicants through Research Assistantships. REQUIRED SKILLS
The position requires excellent written and oral communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities. A Master’s degree (or equivalent—a Bachelor’s degree may be considered for exceptional candidates) in Computer Science or other related fields is required. The candidate must have a strong motivation for research and must be able to conduct research independently and as a part of a team. GRE and TOEFL/IELTS exam scores are required per the university admission policy. The start date of the positions will be August 2024.
