You will be working on the following research areas:
The Security and Safety of Blockchain Technology
The security of Smart Contract: from vulnerabilities detection to design and evaluate testing tools.
Research and Development of Secure HPC Software.
Machine Learning-Based Malware Analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Python, Rust, and Solidity
Experience in machine learning
Excellent writing skills
Applicants who have prior research experience, including published work from work experiences,
and undergraduate, or graduate studies.
About the PI
Dr. Amani Altarawneh (PI) is an assistant professor with a specialization in cybersecurity at Tennessee Tech
University. Her primary interests are in the areas of blockchain, cybersecurity, IoT, smart cities, and parallel
programming. Her research includes security methods and novel analysis techniques on different types of
blockchains. Her work addresses availability analysis of consensus algorithms for blockchain systems using
formal methods and by combining established techniques used for evaluation and testing.
