Strongly motivated applicants are invited to apply for a fully funded Ph.D. student position available starting Fall 2023/Spring 2024, and a postdoc position available immediately, both within the College of Design, Construction and Planning, University of Florida. The PhD student and postdoc will work in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) together with one of the following areas:
*Computational soilid/fluid mechanics of innovative natural and engineered materials for future civil infrastructure and renewable energy systems
*Multiscale and Multiphysics simulation of the urban and coastal geoenvironment
*Earthquake and geophysics
The student and postdoc will study and work in an international multidisciplinary team supported by funds from NSF and other funding agencies.
